Writers & Researchers

We have a number of writing assignments available throughout Ecuador and Latin America.

What we are looking for:

Director of Business Development

This position requires an upbeat, motivated, focused and well-organized individual. You must be comfortable sending dozens of cold emails a day, committed to responding in time and meet daily goals. Must also be results-driven and committed to proactively pitching new business opportunities to potential partners and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze and evaluate landscape of potential new products or partnerships.
• Organize and manage and communicate with large volumes of clients/partnerships.
• Support all aspects of existing partner relationships.
• Perform competitive analysis and market research.
  

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree
• Outstanding team player.
• Excellent follow-through.
• Be able to deal with high volume of data and be exceptionally organized.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written). Fluency in French, German, or other languages is a big plus.

Internships

6 month internships from:

Cost of living stipend paid, in Quito, Ecuador

Positions:
Associate Editor
Associate webmaster and designer

Associate Editor - responsibilities include travel writing, coordination of other writers, editing text, photos, and entry into html for publication. Excellent writing and editorial skills and experience in print or WWW writing or publishing required. Must be able to work independently, work well with people, have basic knowledge of Spanish language, and have an adventurous spirit.

Associate Webmaster - responsibilities include designing, building, updating websites. Creativity, a good eye for layout and design, and programming experience desired.

Required:

• Demonstrated web design/html editor, Photoshop ability
• Ability to speak/write English fluently with some knowledge of Spanish
• Ability to follow-through on assignments and meet deadlines
• Experience managing web sites

All of our internships provide loads of hands-on practical experience.
